Seeing
the glory of Christ
|
The
matchless contours of the infinite glories of Christ are seen in the
Holy Scriptures. Through listening to expositional preaching and
personal reading, studying and meditating upon the Scriptures we
teach our people to look upon Christ in the Bible. |
Savoring
the glory of Christ
|
The
Christ is not a mere subject to be studied. He is a Person at whom
we marvel. We teach our people that God is most glorified in us
when we are most satisfied in Him. Enjoyment of Christ’s glory is
an act of worship which gives rise to the next two phases of
evangelism. |
Showing
the glory of Christ
|
“Let
your light so shine before men that they may see your good deeds and
glory your Father who is in heaven”. This verse helps shape the
strategy of Chapel evangelism. Once we see the breathtaking beauty
of Jesus Christ in the Bible and once we savor this matchless glory
we cannot help but show Him to non-believers through acts of
kindness. |
Spreading
the glory of Christ
|
Our
fourth phase in evangelism is commonly known as proclamation
evangelism. This is where we articulate the gospel and call people
to repent of their sins and trust in their Savior. Heralding the
gospel takes place within our providential relationships as well as
guided Chapel activities. |
