God has called us to a ministry of the Word to people that is marked by several
distinctives.
The Sufficiency of the Scriptures
We believe that the Word of God is all we need for life and
godliness.
The Exposition of the Word
We are committed to the regular, systematic, powerful preaching and
teaching of God's Word so as to expose the Word to the people and expose the people to the
Word.
We believe the Word is to be preached and taught with Holy Spirit
filled and grace enabled passion.
The Sovereignty of God
We unashamedly are persuaded of, believe and teach what are known
as the Doctrines of Grace.
We bow to the providence of God who works all things according to His
will.
The Centrality of God in Worship
We are committed to a blended, contemporary style of worship in
which we focus our worship and praise through the best of the old and the new.
We are committed to a passion in our worship that is focused on the God
we love to praise and honor in both singing to Him and to one another about Him.
The Necessity of Discipleship
We believe that one-on-one and small group discipleship is critical
for Christian growth and maturity.
The Governing of the Church by an Eldership
We believe that the gathered or local church is to be shepherded by
a team of qualified, godly men whom the Bible calls elders.
We believe that a Biblical eldership is critical to the proper
functioning of a New Testament church.
