Disciple-making doesn't just happen because a church exists and people show up. Men must forge ahead with intentional Jesus-centered relationships. Jesus lived this relational disciple-making mission by taking normal guys and making them into disciple-makers. Therefore, as Christian men, we are compelled to embark on this great mission until the gospel spreads to all peoples.
At Clearcreek Chapel, we are becoming a disciple-making church. One way we are doing this is through small groups of men who meet regularly all around the Dayton area for genuine friendship, time in God's Word, prayer, and encouragement. Here is how to get started:
How do I get started?
And Jesus came and said to them...“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations,...”
— Matthew 28:18-20
What happens next?
After you fill out the interest form you may:
- Wait to hear from a leader. We do not assign groups. We will introduce you to a leader who is forming a new group or has space in a current group. We encourage you to talk with men you know at CCC to find out about potential openings in their discipleship groups.
- Meet with a discipleship leader face-to-face. This gives you both an opportunity to get to know one another. You can find out more about the leader's group and he can learn what you are looking for in a group as well.
- Pray and decide. After meeting with a leader, please take a little time to think and pray about whether to commit to the group.
