Biblical Counseling

Our Philosophy

  • Our Foundation

We live in the world, created and interpreted by God and now fallen. Our counseling aims to bring people to love God and love neighbor through believing obedience. We counsel based on the Scriptures which is a sufficient guide for living a God-honoring life.

  • Our Framework

The church is the central place of God's work. Our counseling is under the direction of and is a ministry of Clearcreek Chapel. We counsel people from our own church, other churches, and those who are not churched who are willing to commit to counseling expectations.

  • Our Focus

People live out how they think and what they want. We focus our counsel on both behavior and the heart. True life change comes through repentance in the heart and we seek to bring about heart change through the Word and Spirit of God in counsel.

Personal Counseling

We provide personal counseling to people who are struggling with issues of life. This includes marital, relational, parent-child, eating disorders, depression, substance abuse, and other areas as well.

Our personal counseling is generally scheduled on Mondays from 10:00am-8:00pm. You will be assigned a counselor based on availability and your needs. Our personal counseling is available on a donation basis and there is no fee. To schedule an appointment or for more information, please call the church office at (937) 885-2143 or email counseling@clearcreekchapel.org

Counseling Training

Our Counseling Center also hosts an annual training schedule for those looking to learn about Biblical counseling and discipleship. The classes are focused on fulfilling the ACBC Fundamentals requirements. We also offer advanced courses and classes for ACBC Specializations. Our training programs run annually from February through May.

Our Counselors

Our counselors counsel out of love for God and love for His people. We want to express God's love for people through our attention and empathy with people in their need.
